Answer. For a standard 4 night hire, the cost will start at £100, this will depend on the hot tub requested. This will include delivery, set up, take down, collection and local support. There is also a £100 security/damage deposit refundable on collection. We accept card and cash on delivery.
With electricity cost going up you may be worried about the cost of heating the hot tub. The cost of running a hot tub depends a lot on each user and how it is used. Enjoying a hot tub at the weekend only can actually cost you less than a takeaway or a trip to the cinema for two. As an example: With average summer temperatures your weekend (Friday to Sunday) usage would work out to be approx £9.68 this is based on a Miami AirJet™ (669 litres) with a UK tariff of £0.28khw. Includes heating up to 40°C and using the AirJets for 1.5 hours.
There is not much you need to supply, just access to at least a 3m x 3m flat area (mats are provided to prevent damage), an electric point and water to fill the hot tub.
In most cases it takes 45 mins to an hour to set up. I will position the hot tub and start filling with water (may be able to use a mix of hot and cold if you have a combi boiler), I will test the water and provide the right amount of chemicals to get the ph levels right and chlorine levels correct, then setup the gazebo if you are taking the luxury pack. We will then leave you to finish filling the hot tub, which is normally about 2-3 hours depending on water pressure. You will need to leave it for at least 8 hours for the chlorine levels to stabilise after filling.
We ask our customers to treat the hot tub as if it was your own, so if possible rinse your feet before entering the hot tub to keep the hot tub clear of grit and dirt. Please DO NOT smoke in or around the hot tub. Cigarettes can cause damage to the hot tub. Glass is also not allowed in the tub for obvious reasons, so please use plastic cups. Please ensure pets are kept away as this could be hazardous for them or they may cause damage to the hot tub.
If you are pregnant or take any kind of medication, you should consult your doctor. Also, children should be supervised at all times.
Our gazebos come with weights and when on grass can also be pegged down. If the weather does turn over a weekend we ask our customers to be as responsible as they can be and if needed to just take the gazebo down or remove the canopy and sides. We show how to do this and it is very easy.
After each use we recommend placing the lid back on to keep the tub at the preferred temperature and to stop any bugs and leaves entering the hot tub.
There is no need to empty it as we do have a pump to empty it quickly. We also need to be able to do some checks before being able to return your deposit.
